| New river wide log in Canyon Creek. in the runout of one of the longer bedrock drops as you approach the final gorge. The rapid is an S turn affair w/ a nice boof flake over a hole. You can't see the log in the entry and it isn't obvious when scouting.
at ~300 cfs (250 release from Bowman), the log was just touching the water on the river right (down stream side) and was 6" above the water on the river left. It did not look like you could roll under it.
In the photo below the log is just below the yellow boat.
