there is a log spanning 95% of the main channel in the rapid that 'Ca. Creeks' calls the first class 4 and 'A wet State' calls a 3+ chunky chute. There are pics. on both sites of this rapid. the problem with this log is only the right side part can be seen from a road scout and the left is submerged/hidden in white froth. Make sure to take a look at this one at river level on your way down.
