I just ran coffee creek May 24 2009 with the flow at 575 cfs. About 1.5 miles down from the put in at the north fork bridge the river splits. We went left and found 2 river wide log jams. Both were very dangerous and hard to find eddys to stop in time to portage but we managed to. After that the river merges back and there are 2 more river wide log jams but you can see them easily and portage them safely.

On upper coffee creek watch out for the log blocking the exit of a steep ledge drop about in the gorge next to the large gravel lot. The drop is about 2/3 the way down the gorge and the tree can not be seen from above.
