On Sunday, April 19th there was a large pine tree wedged across the river at the entrance to the main part of Hell's Kitchen (where the river constricts between the big buolders below the rocky riffle entrance drop). You could get past it in a boat, but swimmers might be in trouble.

Here is a photo of the tree in Hell's Kitchen. Taken last Sunday with flow of around 2300 at Lumsden. If you catch the eddy upstream on the left, it is easy to boat scout. Tree has flipped paddle boats, apparently. Easy run around it on the far left. This is a significant hazard.
