In California, American Whitewater is working with Pacific Gas & Electric and the managing agencies, including USFS and BLM, to provide the following scheduled releases for the North Fork Feather. Please note that each release has been and is subject to circumstances on the ground regarding COVID 19. All parties keeping in mind the current California State Order as well as local County Health Guidelines.
North Fork Feather River
Rock Creek Cresta - Weekends of July 25-26, Aug 22-23 & Sept 26-27- 800 & 700 cfs 9am - 3pm

SEMI TRUCK CRASH FORCES CANCELLATION OF RECREATIONAL FLOWS ON NF FEATHER THIS WEEKEND JULY 25 &26.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but scheduled recreational flows for this weekend on the North Fork Feather - Rock Creek have been cancelled. This cancellation will allow removal of a semi-truck in the riverbed.
The plan is to try to get a crane to the site tomorrow or Sunday, Hwy 70 will be closed in both directions as they attempt to remove the semi. Flows might need to be reduced below minimum in stream flows to extract the truck. After the truck is removed, HazMat teams will assess for any impacts.
Update from Butte County Fires, Accidents, Crimes:: Both occupants safely made it out of the truck and are reported to be okay.
