HHWP will begin to make Holm Powerhouse generation “rafting releases” this Friday, May 28^th. Increased generation will occur during the usual 07:00-11:00 AM period on weekends and weekdays (*NWW exceptions noted below).

Flows below Holm will likely be much lower during hours outside this window due to low natural reservoir inflows.

 

All other reservoirs are at minimum in-stream release requirements. In summary:

 

• Holm Powerhouse:
• Beginning Friday, May 28: Rafting Flows 07:00-11:00, lower flows (100-200 cfs) otherwise
• *No Water Wednesdays (NWW) scheduled for  June 2, 16, and 30. No rafting flows will be scheduled for these days to provide maintenance opportunities at the powerhouse.
• We will provide notices if significant changes to this schedule arise.
• Cherry Reservoir:
• 5 cfs valve release through June 30
• Lake Eleanor:
• 20 cfs valve release through June 30
• Hetch Hetchy Reservoir:
• 50 cfs valve release through May 30
• 75 cfs valve release May 31 through June 30

 

As always, all flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as operational needs or constraints arise.
