Water Management Issues:

1.  Releases shown are approximate expected flows.  Actual flows may be higher or lower than shown.

2.  Detailed scheduled release information for the next few days is shown on this graph.

3.  Pit 1 releases work differently than most other rivers.  Normally, water is diverted to the Pit 1 Powerhouse, and not much is left in the river.  During scheduled releases Pit 1 Powerhouse is switched off, which stops the diversion, so whatever is naturally in the river is what we have to boat on.  This is typically about 900 cfs, but could be more, or less.

4.  Users are urged to use caution and to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment.
