SMUD shared their predictions of expected average inflow to Chili Bar for this coming week as follows:

WedMay 24778 AF
ThuMay 34708 AF
FriMay 44638 AF
SatMay 54569 AF
SunMay 64499 AF
MonMay 74429 AF
TueMay 84359 AF
WedMay 94290 AF

Divide by 2 to get an idea of the daily average in CFS, e.g. the proposed Saturday average flow is about 2300 cfs.  Note these are only the average flows; expect fluctuations, sometimes big ones.  Note also that this is what SMUD expect to release, based on their calculations ... depending on all sorts of factors (such as weather), it could be more, or less.  However, barring emergencies, you can confidently count on at least the scheduled releases.

Is there really no release for July 4th? It's a Wednesday this year.

Not according to the schedule, and I find no provisions in the agreement for special handling of variable-day holidays like July 4, Christmas Day, New Year's.

Which doesn't mean they won't release July 4 anyway. I'll ask.

Since it will be during the week of a Full Moon there will be some sort of high water release at night on the 3rd and the 4th. It is certainly not crowed at night.

No, not yet. The inquiry has gone out to SMUD but so far there's been no response that I've seen. I'll send out another request.
