| | The most difficult portions of the road appear to be slightly improved, although the road is still 4WD by most standards. Yesterday morning (June 15), a survey crew was placing stakes at the most difficult spot near the bottom and some other spots, and in the afternoon a sheriff's crew was there setting up a rope river crossing for a 3 AM Pony Express re-enactment. My IK run at 280 cfs yesterday is dedicated to the memory of my 30+ year paddling buddy Kevin McGrath who recently died in an off-river accident.
