The B120 report for February translates to a Dry water year type for the rest of February through early March.

What this means is that we will continue to get Saturday and Sunday releases, from 9AM until noon, until the end of February.  Then, from March 1 onward, there will be scheduled releases every day except Wednesday and Thursday.

The Dry designation will persist at least until the next B120 bulletin comes out, around March 10.  Check back then for an update.

The scheduled release page gives more details. It assumes a Dry water year type through the end of March (but that could change, see previous para, so check back later).

The B120 report for March came out yesterday (Friday), and it predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.150 MAF (million acre-feet), which is significantly less than last month.  The result is that the water year type continues to be Dry, though only just.

The Dry designation will persist at least until the next B120 bulletin comes out, around April 8.  Check back then for an update.

We're currently is a very dry trend, so it's entirely possible the April report will drop to Critically Dry.  (Oh no, please not that!  But, without more effective rain dances, that's what may happen.)

Based on the above, the scheduled release page assumes a Dry water year type through early April, then a Critically Dry water year type through the end of April.  But who knows things could change for the better, so be sure to check back around April 8 for an update.

The B120 report for April came out today, and it predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.285 MAF (million acre-feet), which is a little up from last month.  The result is that the water year type continues to be Dry.

The Dry designation will persist at least until the next B120 bulletin comes out, around May 8.  Check back then for an update.

The scheduled release page gives more details.  It assumes a Dry water year type through the end of May.  But that could change, so be sure to check back around May 8 for an update.

The B120 report for May predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.325 MAF (million acre-feet).  The result is that the water year type continues to be Dry.

The Dry designation will persist until the next B120 report comes out, around Feb 8, 2020.

Consequently, the scheduled release page will be updated soon to reflect a Dry water year type through early February next year.  Happy paddling!
