Below is an updated release projection from HHWP facilities. An additional update will be provided toward the end of August, unless conditions change significantly.

*Next Wednesday, August 5 will be a ‘No Water Wednesday’. No recreational releases from Holm Powerhouse will occur on this day.

*Additionally, August 19 will be a ‘No Water Wednesday’.

We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River.

Intraday powerhouse cycling will continue this week, with pulses occurring between 07:00-11:00 at Holm Powerhouse to sustain recreational flows on the Tuolumne.

 

Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.

 

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

• Flows immediately below Hetch Hetchy are approximately 113 cfs

 

Cherry Reservoir

• Flows immediately below Cherry are approximately 16 cfs

• Holm Powerhouse
• Weekdays
• 00:00 – 07:00: 0-50 cfs
• 07:00 – 11:00: 950 cfs
• 11:00 – 16:00: 40 cfs
• 16:00 – 21:00: 250-300 cfs
• 21:00 – 24:00: 0 cfs

 

• Weekends
• 00:00 – 07:00: 0-50 cfs
• 07:00 – 11:00: 950 cfs
• 11:00-24:00: 0 cfs

 

• Wednesday August 5 & 19 : No Water Wednesdays
• 00:00 – 16:00: 0 cfs
• 16:00 – 21:00: 250-300 cfs
• 21:00-24:00: 0 cfs

Lake Eleanor

• Flows immediately below Eleanor are approximately 21 cfs
