Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities through June 3. An additional update will be provided next week.

We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River.

Intraday powerhouse cycling is expected to continue through Friday May 29, following similar patterns. Saturday May 30 – Monday June 1, Holm Powerhouse flows will remain elevated around the clock. Spill from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is expected to continue fluctuating with natural inflow over the next several days.

 

Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.

 

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

• Flows immediately below Hetch Hetchy are 800 cfs
• Thursday, May 28 – Wednesday, June 3 : valve release 200 cfs
• Spillway flow fluctuating, 300 – 600 cfs

 

• Kirkwood Powerhouse

• 00:00 – 09:00: spill 600 cfs
• 10:00 – 16:00: spill 0 cfs
• 17:00 – 00:00: spill 600 cfs

 

Cherry Reservoir

• Flows immediately below Cherry are approximately 6 cfs

• Thursday, May 28 – Friday, May 29
• Holm Powerhouse
• 45 – 900+ cfs

 

• Saturday, May 30 – Monday, June 1
• Holm Powerhouse
• 900+ cfs around the clock

 

• Tuesday, June 2 – Wednesday, June 3
• Holm Powerhouse
• 45 – 900+ cfs

 

Lake Eleanor

• Flows immediately below Eleanor are approximately 50 cfs
