Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities through July 4.

 

For permitting and access information, contact the Groveland Ranger District. We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River.

 

Flows below all HHWP reservoirs have decreased toward minimum required releases as snowmelt runoff has receded for the season. Standard scheduled recreational releases below Holm Powerhouse will continue to occur from 07:00 - 11:00 through September 1, excluding allotted “No Water Wednesdays”. Next No Water Wednesday scheduled for Wednesday July 9.

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

• Valve release: 135 cfs, decreasing toward 115 cfs by July 1

 

Cherry Reservoir

• Valve release: 7 cfs, increasing toward 16 cfs by June 30

• 00:00-7:00
• 40 cfs
• 7:00-11:00
• 950 cfs
• 11:00-24:00
• 40 cfs
• “No Water Wednesday” July 9: 0 cfs

 

 

Lake Eleanor

• Valve release: 21 cfs
