Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities through June 20.

We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River.

 

Flows below Hetch Hetchy Reservoir continue to decrease and will vary as spillway flows recede during the coming week. Releases below powerhouses will be lowering through next week.

 

Flows will likely transition from Hetchy Hetchy spill to recreational generation 07:00 -11:00 during the middle of next week.

 

Intraday powerhouse cycling is expected to continue. See details below.

 

Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.

 

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

• Planned valve and spill releases from Hetch Hetchy:
• Currently approx. 200 cfs
• Reservoir is full and spilling
• Valve plus spill releases will be variable between 100-600 cfs through next week
• Kirkwood Powerhouse spill will be stable:

• Saturday June 14
• 00:00-24:00
• 650 cfs
• Sunday June 15 – Tuesday June 17
• 00:00-24:00
• 300 cfs
• Wednesday June 18 – Friday June 120
• Likely decreasing to zero cfs

 

 

Cherry Reservoir

• Valve releases are at approx. 10 cfs
