Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities through June 13.

We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River.

 

Flows below Hetch Hetchy Reservoir have decreased and will vary as spillway flows recede during the coming week. Releases below powerhouses will be slightly higher through next week.

 

Intraday powerhouse cycling on is expected to continue. See details below.

 

Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.

 

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

• Planned valve and spill releases from Hetch Hetchy:
• Currently approx. 900 cfs
• Reservoir is full and spilling
• Valve plus spill releases will be variable between 1,000-2,000 cfs through next week
• Kirkwood Powerhouse spill will be stable:

• Weekdays and Weekends
• 00:00-24:00
• 650 cfs

 

Cherry Reservoir

• Valve releases are at approx. 10 cfs

 

• Holm Powerhouse flows will be variable:
• Weekdays and Weekends
• 00:00-10:00
• 950 cfs
• 10:00-16:00
• 200 cfs
• 16:00-24:00
• 950 cfs

 

Lake Eleanor

• Valve releases below Eleanor are approximately 100 cfs
