Hetch Hetchy Water and Power reported on May 15 as follows:
Good afternoon,
Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities through May 23.
For permitting and access information contact the Groveland Ranger District.
We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River.
Cooler air temperatures and cloud cover in the mountains has temporarily muted snowmelt runoff. Releases from HHWP facilities have correspondingly decreased. A warming trend is expected next week, with flows expected to rise modestly.
Valve releases from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir peaked on Saturday May 10 and have been reduced this week as part of the Upper Tuolumne River Ecosystem Program. Valve releases are expected to remain relatively stable over the next week.
Intraday powerhouse cycling is expected to continue. See details below.
Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.
