Good morning,
Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities through May 16.
For permitting and access information contact the Groveland Ranger District.
We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River.
A warming trend this week will boost snowmelt and unregulated streamflow. Snowmelt and runoff will decrease again next week as cloud cover and cooler temperatures return.
Valve releases from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir will increase
significantly this week, peaking on Saturday May 10, then incrementally decrease Sunday through next week as part of the Upper Tuolumne River Ecosystem Program.
Intraday powerhouse cycling is expected to continue. See details below.
Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.
