Good Morning,

Due to the usually strong heat wave that is forecast to occur over the next seven days, we are preparing to respond to any dispatches from the California ISO in real time at Holm Powerhouse.

 

• From today September 1 through the morning of September 8 there is a possibility that Holm Powerhouse may ramp up to as much as 1,000 cfs on short notice, for undetermined length(s) of time.
• Increases would likely be during the afternoon/evening periods, as we saw during the last time we had a similar heat wave and grid-wide power deficit.
• All planned recreational releases are unchanged. Monday September 5, 2022 (Labor Day) will be the last day of recreational power generation releases (07:00-11:00) at Holm Powerhouse.
