Hetch Hetchy Water and Power reported on May 7 as follows:
See table below for an update to HHWP release schedules affecting flows on Cherry Creek and the Tuolumne River. Hetch Hetchy Reservoir valve releases will decrease to approximately 4,100 cfs beginning Saturday, May 11th. KPH
and HPH generation will continue to experience unusual flow schedules due to unfavorable power prices during daytime hours. Cherry Reservoir and Lake Eleanor valve operations are expected to remain as-is for the next week.

Please note that the table above lists the minimum HPH and KPH powerhouse releases that are expected during each day. Also, the above table does not include the S Fk, Middle Fk and Clavey, which will likely continue to make
relatively significant contributions to total downstream flows. Due to very low, sometimes negative power prices, generation will be reduced during the approximate hours of 6am – 8pm. Flows outside these hours will resume a more typical pattern. Please see
the table below for 24-hour KPH and HPH estimated release schedules. As always, these flows are estimates and are subject to change at any time due to operational constraints. We will notify you when significant changes to operations occur or are expected
to occur.
