Bear River

Chris Shackleton running the low-head dam below the put-in, which is 100 feet upstream
on river right (photo left).  The flow was 600 cfs, a great flow for this run.  This drop
looks trivial from the photo, but it can play with the unwary.  As Daniel notes in his
write-up: "Just don't melt it or you would start the day off badly".  - Photo: Daniel Brasuell
